That means we do not sell any electricity - instead we make recommendations about which REP will give you the best deal. We are located at 207 Mill Trail Ct. Sugar Land, Texas, 77498.

Why do you typically recommend longer term contracts?

First and foremost, multi-year contracts have typically been cheaper than 1 year contracts. In fact, for most of 2022, it would have been cheaper by hundreds of dollars to sign up for a 5 year contract and pay the cancellation fee after 12 months than to have signed up for a 12 month plan to begin with.

A longer contract also means more price protection while maintaining your right to cancel your current plan for a fee. Can you imagine how much money you'd be saving right now if you had locked in a 5 year electricity rate in 2020? Plus, if power prices return to 2020 levels now, you can pay a cancellation fee to get out of the long term rate.

Of course, this all depends on the size of the cancellation fee, your expected power consumption, the amount you'd save by cancelling - but this is all math and analysis we handle for you when making our recommendations.

How do you make money?

Our philosophy is that information should be free. You shouldn't be penalized by paying a higher fee because you clicked on the wrong Google link.
Our DIY service is offered 100% free. We do not receive any broker fees or anything for the plans we recommend through this service.
We are about to release our revenue generating products! We only make money off of (1) our Rate Monitor plan, where we actively search the market to make sure you have the best plan for your home at all times and relay the recommendations to you; and (2) our Concierge service, where we manage everything about your contracts - sign ups, renewals, cancellations, etc.
